Project Case Study
A 30,000 square foot data center and its eight-generator standby plant, removed in full, down to the 50,000 gallon fuel tank.
The Project
This was a full-scale plant removal: a 30,000 square foot data center in Nanuet, New York, backed by eight generators totaling over 11 megawatts, a 50,000 gallon diesel fuel tank, paralleling switchgear, and forty 30-ton Liebert CRAC units. Powerhouse Systems took the entire facility down, inside and out, from the numbered rows of cooling units on the data floor to the rooftop equipment and the outdoor gear. Our own crew handled the disconnect, rigging, and removal across the whole site, keeping a complex multi-system teardown under one point of contact.

Equipment Recovered
Recovered equipment is refurbished and resold, which is what lets us pay for the gear we remove instead of charging to haul it away.
Whether it is a single equipment room or a full facility, we handle the electrical and IT scope from walkthrough to broom-clean handover.
