The Project

Two hundred racks out the door

This St. Louis facility was shutting down a 6,000 square foot data hall holding 200 server racks, two 225 kVA UPS systems, and the electrical switchgear behind them. Powerhouse Systems powered down the room, disconnected and removed the racks and power equipment, and staged everything for loadout. Our own crew performed the disconnect, rigging, and removal, and the room went back to the owner cleared and ready for whatever comes next.

Equipment Recovered

What we removed

  • (2) 225 kVA UPS systems
  • 200 server racks
  • Electrical switchgear

Recovered equipment is refurbished and resold, which is what lets us pay for the gear we remove instead of charging to haul it away.
