Project Case Study
An 8,000 square foot data center taken offline and cleared, from the main service line-ups to the generator yard.
The Project
This Raleigh facility needed its 8,000 square foot data center decommissioned end to end, including the electrical backbone: two 2,000 amp main service line-ups, four 225 kVA UPS systems, and a pair of 750 kW Kohler generators with their transfer switches. Powerhouse Systems powered the space down, disconnected and rigged out the equipment, and loaded everything out for transport. Our own crew performed the full scope, so the owner had one contractor on site from shutdown through turnover.

Equipment Recovered
Recovered equipment is refurbished and resold, which is what lets us pay for the gear we remove instead of charging to haul it away.
Whether it is a single equipment room or a full facility, we handle the electrical and IT scope from walkthrough to broom-clean handover.
